A Quick Apology

Two apologies, actually. First, I'm probably writing and posting more here than anyone can keep up with. It's just my first day as a blogger, though, so I'm sure the shine will wear off posting for me and I'll keep it down to just once (or maybe twice) a day. I haven't kept a journal since Finn was born (hmmm... wonder where my journaling time went?), and this reminds me very much of that old habit--one I miss. So, in other words, I'm writing this more for myself than for anyone else, and if you happen to be keeping up with the multiple posts that's just a little icing on this already enjoyable gateau.

Second, I'm not editing (clearly). I just read over the last post and realized I'm throwing commas around like this blog is spaghetti and punctuation is my parmesan. Sorry about that. Can I get away with saying it's summer and the editor in me is taking a little holiday? Probably not (my own shame won't permit that), but perhaps you, dear reader, will forgive me anyway.
